Your diagnosis explains what’s happening. I look at why.

Joint pain, fatigue, and systemic inflammation often show up together. When they do, they usually point to underlying drivers we can investigate. I work with people who have autoimmune diseases or chronic inflammation and want to understand what’s fueling it, alongside the care they already receive.

Sound familiar?

Many of my patients have lived with these symptoms for years, often with a diagnosis that explains what’s happening but not why.

Pain & Fatigue

  • Morning stiffness or joint pain that comes and goes without a clear reason
  • Fatigue that sleep doesn’t fix
  • Flares that seem to come out of nowhere

Gut & Inflammation

  • Bloating, reflux, or irregular digestion alongside joint or skin symptoms
  • Inflammation that shows up in more than one place
  • Reactions to more foods than you used to have

Diagnosis & Treatment

  • A positive ANA or elevated inflammatory markers, but no clear diagnosis
  • Medication that controls the disease on paper, while you still don’t feel well
  • More than one autoimmune diagnosis, treated one at a time

Maybe you’ve been told to wait until symptoms are bad enough to treat, or that managing the disease is the only option. Managing it matters. So does asking what’s driving it.

The Real Story About Autoimmunity

Conventional treatment for autoimmune disease focuses on calming the immune response, and that care can be essential. What it rarely addresses is why the immune system became dysregulated in the first place.

A large share of your immune tissue lines your gut, which makes gut health central to immune regulation. Autoimmune conditions also tend to cluster, and having one raises the likelihood of developing another. Both are reasons to look at the whole system rather than one diagnosis at a time.

How I Work

I start with gut health because it’s central to immune regulation. We use Tiny Health microbiome sequencing, gut barrier assessment, and targeted nutrition to stabilize that foundation.

From there, we identify and address other immune triggers as needed, such as blood sugar dysregulation, chronic stress, nutrient gaps, and infections.

The goal is a steadier baseline. Every case is different, and I’ll be honest with you about what the data shows and what we’re working toward.

How to Get Started

Autoimmune work takes time. The Monthly Care Plan gives us room to investigate, address what we find, and keep you steady from there.

Step 1: Submit a new patient interest form; tell me your symptoms and goals

Step 2: We’ll meet for a short Introductory Call to see if we’re a good fit

Step 3: Ongoing care through the Monthly Care Plan (three-month minimum), with a custom protocol including food, herbs, supplements & lifestyle

Is This Right for You?

A good fit if you

  • Have an autoimmune diagnosis or signs of chronic inflammation
  • Want to work alongside your rheumatologist, gastroenterologist, or endocrinologist
  • Are ready for ongoing, data-driven work

Not the right fit if you’re looking for

  • A replacement for your current medical care
  • A single visit or a quick fix

The Case for Continuity in Functional Medicine Care

Functional medicine abstract flow

I work with women who are smart, health-literate, and exhausted from trying to manage complex symptoms on their own. They’ve done labs. They’ve tried diets. They’ve seen multiple specialists. T-Cell Regulation for Autoimmune Diseases: A Functional Medicine Guide

In autoimmune disease management, targeting T-cell regulation stands out as one of the most effective strategies. Frequently Asked Questions About Autoimmune Care

Do I need to stop my medications?

No. I work alongside your prescribing doctor. Any change to medication happens with them, never on my own recommendation.

Yes. Many people come to me with symptoms or abnormal markers before a diagnosis is confirmed. We can investigate what’s driving the inflammation while you continue working with your doctor on a diagnosis.

A large share of your immune tissue lines your gut, so gut health plays a central role in immune regulation. It’s the first place I look because it often explains more than one symptom at once. It isn’t the only place, and we look further as the data points us there.

Yes, and I encourage it. My work is meant to run alongside your conventional care, not replace it.

It varies. Autoimmune conditions develop over years, and steadying them takes time. That’s why care starts with a three-month minimum. We track what’s changing along the way so you’re not guessing.
